Fine Things of Boca Raton to host Grand Re-Opening
Gathering will benefit America’s Moms for Soldiers
Boca Raton, FL, September 2011 — Fine Things of Boca Raton is proud to announce that it will be hosting a Grand Re-Opening on Thursday, December 1, 5-8pm at the boutique located in Glades Plaza, 2200 W. Glades Rd., #504. The event, which will showcase Fine Things’ new and updated warm colors and inviting design, will include cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, as well as serve as a benefit for America’s Moms for Soldiers.
Fine Things is Boca Raton’s destination for an extensive selection of beautiful and unique accents, home décor and gifts. “I only buy what I would put in my own home,” said Fine Things’ owner Doris Gillman who along with her daughter, Abby Bernstein, does all of the purchasing for the store. “I search for current and interesting pieces that you won’t find everywhere else. These are the things that make a house a home, and reflect your personal style.”
America’s Moms for Soldiers sends monthly care packages to Soldiers, Marines and Airmen serving in Iraq and Afghanistan who receive little or no mail from home. Many of these service men and women are assigned to Forward Operating Bases or Outposts where they do not have access to basic items such as snacks, hygiene supplies, personal health articles like foot powder, lip balm and baby wipes, as well as a variety of treats. America’s Moms works directly with Chaplains and Commanders to coordinate the efforts to provide support to those who do not receive care packages from home.
